A few weeks ago I took a ride to the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The way the weather has been this summer I thought I would never take this ride. It was a good day to ride. The weather was great. Blue skies all day.
The museum was dark inside and my camera does not take good photos inside a building. I had to doctor them a bit. This is why I took so long to post these pictures.
I’m going to add a new Project to the Project Page soon. With photos. I wanted to Post a lot more projects by now but I can’t seem to find the time. I take the photos so I have to stop working so I can take a photo of each step. The project photos also need to be in sequence and I want to add captions to them.
This Project is a 2001 Dyna, Super Glide. It had some lower fork damage caused by some Pool Chemicals splashed on them. The paint and clear coat had to be striped off. The owner decided to have the forks polished instead of a repaint. The finished product was well worth the time spent.
So check in often, click on the Projects tab to see if I Posted this new Project.
Here Is The Museum Slideshow, Enjoy

Sweet pics, I bet seeing all that stuff up close was a real treat. I still remember riding my father-in-law's Harley around the block..so worried I was going to scratch it! Way sweet ride though:)
..by the way, thanks for following my blog!..and the visits etc.:) Your site still looks great!
Thanks Tony. My camera does not work well in the dark. I use the flash and the photos get washed out. The pics. come out better with out the flash. My scoot is the red Dyna in front of the Museum Entrance sign photo....
I'm going to add these photos and more cool bikes I come across to my Biker Joe Web Site. I don't want to use Photo Bucket for this. Their slide shows are OK, but I want to find a better way using my Web Sites server. bikerjoe.net
I'm experimenting with Power Point slide show and some different HTML table code.
I have a new Project(stripping and polishing the lower fork tubes of a Dyna Super Glide) I'm going to Post it to the Project Page if the Blog will accept the Power Point code. If not, back to the drawing board...
Nice, I'll be sure to check it all out. I've done a few flickr slide shows that I kind of like, I like the way this one scrolls, but I like the bigger size of the flickr ones, hope the power point stuff works.:), sounds interesting.
